Explore the Work
The Stoolery offers four distinct approaches to the wooden stool: the refined simplicity of the Classic Line, one-of-a-kind Artisan Originals, Statement Series that connect individual pieces through shared materials or design, and Bespoke Commissions. Each explores a different balance of form, function, and material, united by careful craftsmanship.

The Artisan Originals
Crafted one at a time from select hardwoods, the Artisanal Line showcases my most considered work. Pieces shaped with refined detailing and a finish that reveals the natural depth of each wood. Every stool carries its own visual signature: distinctive grain, hand-tuned shaping, and careful joinery that rewards a closer look. Designed for homes that value character as much as function, these stools offer a sculptural presence that quietly elevates any room.
The Statement Series
Statement Series bring together individually crafted stools connected through shared materials, forms, or ideas. Each series explores a common theme, whether through wood from the same tree, recurring design elements, or variations in proportion and shape.
Every stool remains a unique piece in its own right, while together they form a collection with a shared character and story.
The Classic Line
The Classic Line pairs everyday function with refined craftsmanship. Each stool is built with a 12″ diameter seat, shaped with a smooth ¼” round-over for comfort and a timeless profile. Standing 15″ tall, they’re ideal for slipping on shoes, adding seating for guests, or living as a subtle accent piece. Three legs set at a stable 9° stance give every stool a confident, grounded feel. Reliable wherever it lands in your home.
Bespoke Commissions
For those seeking a piece tailored to their home, Bespoke Commissions offer a fully collaborative process. Together we shape a stool to your exact needs – height, proportions, wood selection, and detailing – while preserving the craftsmanship and balance that define The Stoolery. Each commission is made with clear communication and careful craftsmanship, resulting in a one-of-one piece built thoughtfully for its intended place.
