Before there was a chair, there was a stool.

Care & Warranty

Care

To keep it looking and performing its best:

Dust with a soft, dry cloth; wipe spills immediately with a lightly damp cloth, then dry.

Avoid harsh cleaners, wax polishes, solvents, or ammonia-based products.

Use only on flat, stable surfaces; place felt or rubber pads under legs if on delicate flooring.

Avoid prolonged direct sunlight or extreme changes in humidity or dryness, as wood naturally moves and minor checking may occur.

Two Year Limited Warranty

All stools from The Stoolery are covered by a two-year limited warranty against structural defects in materials or craftsmanship under normal residential use.

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse (including standing), overloading, modification, improper care, or environmental conditions such as excessive humidity or dryness.

At our discretion, warranty claims may be fulfilled by repair, replacement, or refund. Because each piece is made from solid hardwood by hand, natural variations in grain, colour, and dimension are expected and unique to every stool and are not considered defects.

To submit a claim, email thestoolery@gmail.com with proof of purchase and photos of the defect.

Product Use & Safety Guidelines

To ensure safe and proper use and protect against injury, please review the following mandatory guidelines:

Intended Use

Each piece from The Stoolery is handcrafted as functional seating, built for everyday adult use on flat, stable indoor surfaces. These stools are designed for indoor residential use and are not intended for commercial, outdoor, or industrial settings.

Age Restriction

Our products are not designed or certified for use by children under 8 years of age. They are not toys and should not be used by or left unattended with children under 8.

Weight Limit

All stools are designed and tested for seated use only, supporting up to 250 lbs (113 kg) of evenly distributed weight. Exceeding this limit constitutes misuse and may void warranty coverage and any claims against the manufacturer’s liability.

Modifications & Misuse

Modification or use beyond normal seated purposes is considered outside the scope of intended use. This includes, but is not limited to:

  •  Standing on the stool or using it as a step stool, ladder, or climbing platform.
  • Using the stool on uneven or unstable surfaces.
  •  Overloading or applying uneven weight (exceeding 250 lbs).

Any such misuse may void any claims against the manufacturer’s liability. The Stoolery cannot be held responsible for injuries or damages resulting from misuse, overloading, or unsafe handling.

Liability Disclaimer

By purchasing and using this product, the buyer acknowledges and accepts sole responsibility for all risks associated with its use. The Stoolery cannot be held responsible for injuries or damages resulting from failure to follow these guidelines or from any foreseeable or unforeseeable misuse of the product.
